Melbourne Asbestos Removal – Exterior Project

Asbestos Outside the Home
Many houses built before 1990 contain asbestos cement materials. Asbestos is as commonly found outside the home especially in:
- Garage/car ports
- Exterior of home – weatherboard cladding or brick cladding
- Outdoor toilets
In Australia, asbestos cement materials were first manufactured in the 1920s and were commonly used in construction of building materials between the 40s and late 80s.
